u-he has announced the release of Zebralette 3. Currently in open beta, Zebralette 3 is free to download and use. Like its predecessor, it features a single oscillator plucked from the upcoming Zebra 3 flagship synthesizer and embedded within a minimal environment. The multi-stage envelope generator, LFOs, modulation matrix, delay and reverb effects, making the single oscillator more than powerful enough to function as a little synthesizer in its own right.

Zebralette 3 is also a wavetable editing tool: You can export the pure wavetable in .WAV format, which can then be loaded into your wavetable synthesizer of choice.
The first beta version of Zebralette 3 is available now from the u-he forum at KVR. Various threads have already been set up and linked on that page, waiting for your comments, praise, critique and bug reports.
