Introducing KVR Studio Manager: Your Plugin Management Solution
KVR Studio Manager is a free/donationware software application for macOS and Windows that serves as a bridge between a KVR member's computer and their installed plugins and the KVR Audio website, automatically interfacing with a member's personalized MyKVR page and the KVR Product Database, the largest database of its kind on the web.
With KSM you can track version numbers and updates, and go directly to a developer's product pages from the KSM application. You can filter the latest news and information for your personal needs and browse for sound expansions and related products all in one place at the same time. You can also share your studio setup with other KVR members collaborate with other musicians via the Group Compare features, all from within the KVR Studio Manager application.
Streamline Plugin Management
The KVR Studio Manager can keep track of your installed VST3, CLAP and AU plugins, and connect them to the expansive KVR Audio ecosystem. Easily locate plugins on your hard disk, identify duplicate installations and keep tabs on what is being added and removed from your collection. If you are using more than one computer for your music making, the KSM will help keep them mirrored.
Stay Ahead of the Curve
The KVR Studio Manager is designed to make updating your plugins a breeze. It synchronizes your locally installed version numbers with those in the KVR database, so it's easy to see when an update is available. Right-click a plugin to go straight to the developer's website, or check the plugins download info for quick access to installers or installation managers. You can even go directly to a plugin in the VST, AU, or CLAP folder if you want to temporarily or permanently move it to a different location.
Stay informed with Snapshots and History
With the snapshot feature of KVR Studio Manager, you can now chronicle the evolution of your studio setup. Whether you're installing new plugins, removing outdated ones, or updating existing ones, Studio Manager can capture a timeline, providing you with a detailed history of what is happening in your plugin folder. Need a fresh installation? Easily track changes over time and compare different setups with snapshots taken of your plugin collection at any given time.
Flex Your Collection
Share and compare your plugin collections with friends and collaborators, or just your own computers. Doing a collab? Share lists and see what plugins you or your partner may be missing. You can even grab it directly from the KVR Marketplace if you wish.
Studio manager? Have a client share their plugin list with you prior to a session so you can prepare. The compare function works great on your own setups too. KVR Studio Manager creates a list for each unique machine ID, so you can track and compare plugins installed on your desktop and laptop simultaneously, or reinstall plugins on a new machine by comparing to a snapshot.
Your Studio, Your News, Your Store
KVR Studio Manager connects you to your MyKVR page, a personal space available to every KVR member where you can manage plugin wish lists, follow brands, control notifications and much, much more. MyKVR and Studio Manager provide you with a custom news feed based on the plugins you own or brands you follow. Shop for sounds for the instruments you love, or for instruments to love... a customised KVR Marketplace experience is available right inside KVR Studio Manager.

KVR Public Beta Info
KVR Studio Manager is currently in Public Beta, as such you may experience a few bugs and hiccups. We'd appreciate you letting us know by joining the discussion in the INSERT FORUM here forum. We are unable to provide direct support at this time but will endeavour to address as many questions and issues in the forums as possible.
A few notes for the current state of KVR Studio Manager:
- While we have an enormous amount of listings in our database, not every plugin will be listed, found or automatically linked. We rely on the involvement of you, the users, and our developer community for accuracy. The more people use KVR Studio Manager, the easier it is for us to identify and prioritize issues.
- Occasionally, a plugin may report incorrect version numbers. We try to correct these or identify issues in some cases to developers as we can. If a plugin is labeled 'unsupported' in KSM, chances are it is using a non-standard versioning criteria, or some other internal issues and we have not been able to find a work around.
