zplane launches Tonic Key Detection Plug-in Public Beta - Win a License

-
zplane

zplane is offering everyone the opportunity download the beta version of the new Tonic Key Detection plug-in and try it on any music, samples, or other audio in their favorite DAWs.

zplane has set up a beta forum where you can report any issues you find, discuss workflow issues, or make requests for changes or features—all to ensure that Tonic is the best product it can be.

zplane says:

We will be awarding full Tonic licenses to the 10 users with the greatest participation on the forum, so be sure to get involved to improve your chances of winning.

Tonic enables the user to find the key, scale and compatible chords for samples and audio tracks.

Load Tonic onto any audio track in your DAW and the plugin will apply its music theory AI and detect up to three possible keys, each presented with a probability rating.

Use the Keyboard View to try out the notes and chords in the scale and verify the fit. Once you know the key and its associated notes and chords, playing or programming to match the audio is a breeze.

There is also an offline mode where Tonic will present the key of audio files before you load them into a sampler.

Technical Specifications:

  • Mono and Stereo operation.
  • Reference tuning detection for recordings that deviate from A440.
  • Offline mode – detect the key before loading audio into samplers.
  • Plugin formats: AAX, AU & VST3.
  • Supported Operating Systems:
    • Windows 10 | Intel.
    • MacOS 10.15 and 11.6 | Intel and M.
