Xhun Audio has announced the forthcoming release of RawPrime, a modeled hybrid synthesizer built using cheap, specific digital and analogue electronic components derived from the 1970s-1980s telecommunications industry. They say:
Built to be a hardware-replicable device, the basic concept/idea behind RawPrime is to generate very large amounts of aliasing (on purpose) out of modeled vintage lo-fi electronic components (with loose tolerances and heavy signal distortions) and use that aliasing material as its sole sound source.
Price: 89 €. RawPrime is expected to be released during the first week of February, 2024.
More informations about RawPrime (including product images and signal path walkthrough) can be found on the KVR Audio forum official thread.
