UVI has released The Effects Bundle, a collection of professional and creative audio tools along with Opal, an emulation of the iconic optical compressor, including accurate models of 7 different units.
Leveraging advanced techniques our researchers were able to create their own innovative physical model, delivering unparalleled accuracy and faithful representation of these iconic compressors and the T4 optical cells within. Opal includes models of seven units, borrowed from studios around the world, each offering a unique dynamic profile. In addition, users will find a slew of both handy and modern features including external sidechain, variable responsiveness, frequency response correction, tube drive, and more.
Opal is available now, with a special introductory price of $59 / 59€ through July 31st, 2023 (regularly $99 / 99€).
Opal is also available in The Effects Bundle, a collection including UVI's entire effects line; Shade, Plate, Sparkverb, Dual Delay X, Relayer, Rotary, Phasor, Thorus, Drum Replacer, and the all-new Opal.
The Effects Bundle is available now for a special introductory price of $199 / 199€ through July 31st, 2023 (regularly $299 / 299€), with tiered upgrade vouchers available for current owners of single effect products.
Opal and The Effects Bundle are compatible with current versions of all major DAWs on both Mac and Windows platforms (VST, VST3, AU, and AAX). A single license includes 3 activations that can be used on any combination of individual computer systems or iLok keys.
