With 2.5 GB of samples containing over 600 loops, each of the five construction kits contains 2 main musical parts, a break section (great for linking the main parts) and dedicated intro and outro parts. The original recording tempos range from 60 to 68 BPM for an authentic downtempo feel. Tempo and pitch can be adjusted with ease to match the needs of your project using Elastik's powerful tool set. The kits feature extended loops (up to 32 seconds) providing plenty of performance variation when arranging into a full-length track.
Given the dub style, the key instruments are the drums and bass. Drums are provided as premixed loops as well as single tracks for bass drum (in and out plus a sub for plenty of bottom-end), snare drum (top, bottom, trigger plus an FX option featuring classic reverb and tape-echo effects), hihat, toms, cymbals, overheads and room. Percussion sounds provide additional rhythmic options. The amp version of the electric bass is big, full, and deep, giving you all the mix-ready low-end you might need. However, a DI version is also included giving you flexibility in the mix if needed. For both drums and bass, the playing is big and bold; this is the classic dub reggae sound but delivered with modern production quality. The bedrock of drums and bass is complemented by multiple electric guitar parts (with both DI and FX versions featuring spring reverb, tape echo, chorus and wah), acoustic piano, organ and atmospheric sound effects.
