The Surge Synth Team has updated Surge XT (formerly Surge by Vember Audio) to Surge XT 1.2.
XT 1.2 retains full compatibility with XT 1.0 patches and sessions. Added are several new features, including oscilloscope (based on s(m)exoscope), ability to act as MTS-ESP server, even more improvements in accessibility, and more.
Other highlights include:
- Noise oscillator can now be set to mono in all stereo filter configurations.
- Filter analysis overlay can now act as an XY pad to change cutoff and resonance simultaneously.
- Optional CPU usage display in output level meter.

Better handling of irregular buffer sizes that are not a multiple of 32 samples (impacts FL Studio).

Added a license field to Save Patch dialog.

Various changes in the back-end to support VCV Rack-only features.
- Various visual and stability fixes.
- New wavetables and patches.
