SampleModeling releases "The Flutes" - C-flute, Piccolo, Alto & Bass - for Mac & Win, VST, AU & AAX
SampleModeling has announced the release of The Flutes, which includes four instruments, namely C-flute, piccolo, alto and bass flutes, and exploits SampleModeling's proprietary platform with all the features of previous SWAM-based instruments including realtime-controlled formants, BC mode, microtuning, AAX support for Pro Tools (32 & 64-bit), plus several improvements, including reduced CPU load, and a new Style slider adapting the instrument response to various styles from Classical to Jazz or Ethnic.
Flutes use samples as a base material, chromatically performed by a professional player over a very wide dynamic range, and recorded with state-of-the-art technology. The resulting timbre is therefore that of the real instrument. But the analogy with a sample based library ends here. The underlying, proprietary technology allows continuous interpolation among different vectors like time, dynamics, pitch and formants. Advanced real time processing techniques yield realistic legato, vibrato, squeak, overblow, ornamentations & trills, pitchbends, subharmonics, growl and flutter tongue to be performed in real time.

The Flutes is available in one package only. The cost of all four instruments is €229,- (+VAT, if applicable). All Samplemodeling customers are entitled to a time-limited 10% discount. Please note that this offer expires on June 15th, 2014.
The Flutes are supplied as plug-ins using SampleModeling's SWAM engine. They run on Windows (XP, 7, 8 or Vista) and Mac OS X (10.6 to 10.9); supported formats are Audio Units, VST2 and AAX.
