Replika Sound has announced the launch of RSCI01 Audition Player, a specially designed Kontakt Instrument that allows you to use your own samples.
Audition loads the samples and spreads them out 1 per Key. Simply select one of your samples with your MIDI keyboard and click a button on the GUI to have that sample spread out across 6 octaves. You can layer 4 samples together.
Each Sample Layer has its own controls for: Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Pitch, HP and LP Filters, Chorus, Tube Drive, Delay, long evolving LFO Sweep FX, Tempo-Synced Pulse (Stutter) and Filter Gates, Tempo-synced AutoPan and ADSR envelopes.
There are Master Gates, Filters, Envelopes and Effects like Delay and Reverb.
Replika Sound says Audition is like a bridge between static Sample Packs and fluid playable Virtual Instruments.
Chamaeleon Pads & Drones uses the same sample selection engines as Audition and is bundled free with Audition. It comes with 123 24-bit 6-octave multi-sampled pad sounds and 101 presets. Combing these pad sounds with the 4-layer Audition engine can make millions of sound combinations.
There is a free Demo version of Both Audition and Chamaeleon. There are some limitations which are listed in the README file in the demo pack.
All the features are fully MIDI automatable. They are designed for the full version of Kontakt 5.3 (or newer).
Intro Price: £5.00 (USD 6 / EUR 6) until 16th April, 2020 (Reg. £32).
Further information is available from the RSCI01 Audition Page on the Replika Sound website together with a full Feature Guide.
