PlugInGuru.com has released Northern Lights - a patch library for Omnisphere 2.1 with a strong focus of beautiful pads, motion pads and bells created by Jason Shoepefer. With 166 Patches, 92 Multis and 8 new SoundSources in the library, PlugInGuru says there is "a wealth of patches that all seem to have a life of their own to work with".
This is the first library PlugInGuru has released which has patches with "ORB" at the end of their name. These patches have the ORB not only turned on, but they have also recorded motion data that is played back while you play notes to create even more complex variations of motion in many of the patches.
Here's what they say: "Jason lives near the heart of the Canadian Rockies – in Calgary, Canada. Many of the Patch and Multi names are based on interesting locations and iconic sites in Canada and while many of the sounds are awesome by themselves, they truly come alive when layered with other non-synthesis based instruments - especially pianos and guitars. The Patches include 56 Texture Pads, 47 Synth Pads, 29 Bell and Bell Pad sounds for the "meat" of the library. The added Keyboard, pluck, piano, bass, lead and SFX sounds help round out the library and give it even more value. Adding to this, there are 25 BPM Bell Arp Multis, 40 Bell and Synth Pad Multis and 25 Synth Pad Layers. This library purchase also includes the Logic Pro X and BreakTweaker OMG! Drums presets to play the "Aurora Dance" demo song (you need to own Logic Pro X 10.2.1 plus Omnisphere and iZotope BreakTweaker plug-ins plus own 2 PlugInGuru libraries - Northern Lights for Omnisphere 2.1 and OMG! Drums for BreakTweaker).
