Plughugger has released Prototype Frequencies for Arturia Pigments.
Prototype Frequencies is an atmospheric house soundset based on the hardware groovebox Model Cycles by Elektron. The soundset explores the dedicated FM engines by using the advanced sample functionality of Arturia Pigments, utilising better effects, higher polyphony and more advanced modulation.
The sound design goal of Prototype Frequencies was to capture the multifaceted character of the Model Cycles. From mellow ambient sine bells all the way to hard techno mayhem.
