Orange Tree Samples releases "Evolution Vision Bass" for Kontakt Player with Intro Offer
Orange Tree Samples has released Evolution Vision Bass, a 5-string electric bass sample library powered by Native Instruments' Kontakt Player. They say:
Evolution Vision Bass was sampled using a 5 string electric bass, ideal for metal and heavy rock music. Its multi-scale design, also known as fanned frets, means that the bass's lower pitched strings have a longer scale length than the higher pitched strings in order to improve the instrument's tonal clarity and sustain. This is important in the lowest pitches especially, so that the notes sound clear and defined. In the bass we used for sampling Evolution Vision Bass, the low B string has a 37" scale length and a 34" scale length on the high G string. For comparison, most electric basses have a scale length of 34" or 35".
The library was developed in collaboration with William Derganc and Benjamin Rosen, who worked together to record the electric bass as well as handling the laborious process of editing the library's tens of thousands of samples.
Key features:
- Over 30,000 samples totaling 31.6 GB of uncompressed samples.
- Articulations such as sustains, palm muted notes, muted notes, natural harmonics, tapping, slapping, plus special effects like string slaps and divebombs.
- Legato samples for slides, hammer-ons, and pull-offs.
Intro Price: $139 until August 15th, 2023 (Reg. $179). Evolution Vision Bass is powered by the free Kontakt Player.
