NextMIDI has released a free starter template to use with their orchestration software Divisimate.
With this resource, users receive a pre-routed layout of 32 individual tracks for all instruments of a full symphonic orchestra. Other than Nextmidi's previous releases, this template is not geared to the products of a specific developer. Instead it can be used with any orchestral library that includes sufficiently detailed instruments.
A curated set of 100 essential orchestration presets for Divisimate is provided along with this template, specifically tailored to work with the prepared track routing. With this, it is possible to quickly switch between voicings, doublings and unisons of different orchestral instruments.
NextMIDI say in their overview video:
This template is a good resource to get started with Divisimate - and even to simply learn about the sound of different instrument combinations.
The Universal Orchestral Template for Divisimate is currently available for 6 major DAWs: Cubase, Logic, REAPER, Studio One, Digital Performer and Ableton Live.
Users of other sequencers are also provided with a guide to set up a similar template themselves and a separate download of the orchestration presets.
Divisimate is currently on sale with a discount of 30% until December 2, 2021.
