New Sonic Arts has updated Vice, a loop slicer, to version 1.4006.
Improvements:
- Improved Export workflow with dedicated MIDI, Slice and Loop drag-drop buttons.
- Added option to customise slice fade out and generated tail times.
- Dedicated button for Loop trim mode.
- Arrow up/down key now zoom in/out selected slice.
- Enter key now plays selected slice.
- Exported loops now contain ACID chunk with BPM and length.
- Improved default save location handling.
- Graphical/layout refinements.
- Updated Info hints.
- Various misc improvements and optimisations.
Fixes:
- Drag-drop from Studio One was not working.
- Workaround a driver bug on some OpenGL cards.
- Various misc fixes.
- OS X compatibility fixes.
