Mu Technologies has released versions 1.1.2 and 1.2.0 of Mu Voice and announced that live demos are available on its new YouTube channel.
Mu Voice 1.1.2
- The main change in version 1.1.2 is that it now supports a wide range of sample rates: 44.1 kHz - 48 kHz - 88.2 kHz - 96 kHz - 176.4 kHz - 192 kHz.
Mu Voice 1.2.0
Version 1.2 is MIDI-enabled. This gives you full control over Mu Voice from a MIDI keyboard, featuring:
- Key selection.
- Chord recognition.
- Preset selection.
- Chord scheme navigation.
- Configurable for any type of keyboard from 24 to 88 keys.
New License Policy
The new releases no longer come with a default trial period. Potential customers that wish to demo can apply for a 15 day trial license of version 1.1.2 here. Version 1.2.0 is exclusively for licensed customers. After purchase customers can upgrade automatically.
Pricing and Retail
Mu Technologies has announced its first retail and distribution deals: KLEMM in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; Hook Up in Japan. Both will do the production of Mu Voice boxes in-house. Expect others countries to be added soon.
Because of the retail sales there is only one price for both the electronic license and the boxed version: Price (VAT Inc.): $279 / €239 / £189 / ¥39900.
