Madrona Labs has updated Aaltoverb to version 2.0, adding M1 compatibility, and other new features.
Aaltoverb is a reverberator with features geared towards sound design and performance. Any of its controls, including the size of the reverberant space, can be adjusted without making clicks. And at the top of its range, Aaltoverb's decay parameter jumps to an infinite hold mode, creating an endless wash of sound without audible loop points.
Aaltoverb now supports both Intel-compatible and Apple Silicon (M1) processors natively. In addition, it brings several new features, including:
- MIDI Learn for all parameters.
- LFOs for all main parameters.
- Patch storage and new example patches.
- New saturator to limit level of infinite hold.
Aaltoverb 2.0 is available now as a free update. A 64-bit Audio Units or VST3-compatible host is required.
