Line 6 has announced that AMPLIFi Remote is now compatible with the new Apple Watch, providing musicians with a new way to experience the app. AMPLIFi Remote provides guitarists with control over key AMPLIFi features and functions.
"Our AMPLIFi guitar amps and processors make it really easy to find great tones and jam with any music on your phone by using the free AMPLIFi Remote app, " says Marcus Ryle, co-founder and President of Line 6. "Now that AMPLIFi Remote supports Apple Watch, your tones and tunes are always as close as your wrist."
The new AMPLIFi Remote v2.11 update enables guitar players to control and access guitar tones via Apple Watch. Guitarists can now access tones, control levels, search the Line 6 Tone Cloud, and use the tuner, right from their wrist. AMPLIFi Remote works with the entire AMPLIFi family, and provides guitarists with control over every aspect of their guitar tone and effects. Since the AMPLIFi product family launched in January 2014, customers have created over 230,000 unique tones, while the number of tones available for tone-match results has nearly tripled.
AMPLIFi features that can be accessed from the Apple Watch include:
- Tuner.
- MyTones.
- Dictation search of Line 6 Tone Cloud.
- Master and instrument level control.
The AMPLIFi line of amplifiers, floorboard multi-effects and table-top modeling units combine Line 6 guitar amp and effect tones, Bluetooth streaming and an iOS / Android app.
AMPLIFi Remote v2.11 is now available via the Apple App Store.
