Joey Sturgis has released Toneforge Jeff Loomis in cooperation with Jeff Loomis, guitarist of melodic death metal band Arch Enemy and Swedish metal producer Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy, Sepultura, Devin Townsend, & At The Gates).

Toneforge Jeff Loomis is the latest Artist Series release from the Toneforge lineup, with past releases including collaborations with industry heavyweights Jason Richardson of All That Remains, Misha Mansoor of Periphery, and Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria.

They say:

Toneforge Jeff Loomis brings a series of new tonal options to the market for those in the death metal and progressive genres. With three distinct channels (Clean, Rhythm, and Lead), Dual Cab Mode, custom impulse responses from Joey Sturgis and Jens Borgen, and EQ/Dynamics post-processing sections, this plugin is one of the most feature-packed releases from the JST Team to-date.

Toneforge Jeff Loomis was developed to be a mix-ready virtual guitar tone solution, which is highlighted by the built-in mixing tools optimized by the team at Joey Sturgis Tones to accommodate Jeff's playing style and tonal preferences. Toneforge Jeff Loomis is designed to take you from direct input to a final-mix guitar sound.

Toneforge Jeff Loomis also introduces Live Mode, which allows users to save their favorite presets to scenes that can quickly and easily be toggled through with any MIDI controller or synched to a session for instant tone swapping on the fly. Every parameter of the plugin can be controlled by MIDI CC or Note Input, making it useful software pairing for stage use.
