Embertone has released two new instruments for Kontakt: Jug Drums Complete, their angle on the concept of "epic drumming", and The Kitchen, a free instrument that was created to honor SCOREcast's 6th birthday.
Jug Drums Complete ($25.00)
The Complete version of Jug Drums is a set of 5 instruments: Soprano, Tenor, Alto, Bass and Contra-bass. They were recorded with three mic positions: 2 far mics, 2 mid mics, and 1 close mic practically inside the drum. The interfaces offers complete level control of the three positions.
At the core of the library are the 5 drums, but beyond that, Embertone prepared numerous patches, ambiences and Multis. A quick overview of the Multis can be found here:
Jug Drums Complete also comes with a custom arpeggiator, scripted by Andreas Lemke, with many randomization/humanization options to keep a variety to the patterns. Also included is a preset system with 50 factory presets, and nearly 80 open slots for your own pattern creations.
