discoDSP has updated Discovery Pro to 7.6.

Discovery Pro is a virtual analog synthesizer and sampler with 4 layers, 12 oscillators, WAV and SoundFont support, PADSynth re-synthesis, 2X oversampling/undersampling, built-in arpeggiator, 12 filter types, panning modulation, stereo delay, and gate effects, compatible with 64-bit AAX, Audio Units, VST, and VST3.

The new update features:

  • Oscillator phase reset feature, accessible by clicking the oscillator label or selecting it from the menu under the "swap" option. This feature allows users to reset the oscillator phase easily, providing greater flexibility and creativity in sound design.
  • Major update to the software framework for improved stability and performance. This update ensures that the software operates more efficiently, providing users with a seamless experience.
  • Optimized PADSynth rendering for faster operation based on system specs and CPU cores. This optimization ensures that the software runs quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality.
  • Fix for an issue where the WAVE oscillator was muted after disabling PAD mode. This fix ensures that all oscillators work correctly, providing users with greater flexibility in their sound design.
  • AI-based pattern randomization for Gate and Mod Gates with standard, jazz, and techno models. This feature provides users with a range of pattern options and greater variability, allowing them to experiment with different musical styles.
  • Minor graphical user interface enhancements for better usability. These enhancements make the software easier to navigate, allowing users to focus on their music production.
  • New macOS icon for easier identification on desktop. This new icon makes it easier for users to identify the software on their desktop, ensuring that they can quickly access it when needed.
  • "Save Program to Disk" function for easier saving of presets to the "Documents > discoDSP > Discovery Pro > Presets > Programs" folder. This function makes it easier to organize and manage user presets, providing users with a seamless experience.
