discoDSP has announced the release of Bliss 2.5, the latest iteration of their advanced performance sampler and virtual instrument sampling solution. Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, this update introduces significant improvements to the software.

New Features in Bliss 2.5:

  • Buffer output clearing upon load, which reduces noise during activation on certain hosts.
  • Adjustments to the activation window boundaries when zoom is set at 150% or higher, enhancing user interface usability.
  • Improved file dialogs that now use native OS functionality.
  • A fix for an issue where the activation window was appearing in the background upon loading.
  • Updated math functions to boost the software performance.
  • An updated monospace font for better readability.
  • A color modification for popup menu separators to improve visual coherence.
  • Simplified titles of dialog windows for clearer navigation.
  • A new cached view for the waveform display, which allows for faster load times and improved efficiency.

Existing Bliss 2.4 users can upgrade to 2.5 at a special rate via discoDSP's Members Area.
