Bogren Digital continues to expand its Ampknob series with the release of Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100. This plugin distils the essence of the hand-built MLC S_Zero 100 boutique tube amplifier into a streamlined and user-friendly package.
Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100 simplifies the tone-shaping process with a single gain knob and a switch. This allows players to focus on creating music rather than fiddling with parameters. Despite this simplicity, the plugin claims to deliver a wide range of guitar tones.
The original MLC S_Zero 100 is a versatile three-channel amp. Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100 captures its tonal breadth within a single knob. Lower gain settings deliver Channel 1's clean, sparkly tones and rich overdrives. Cranking the gain gradually transitions into Channel 2's organic tube crunch and, ultimately, into Channel 3's high-gain territory.
A toggle switch engages an integrated overdrive pedal, adding even more sonic flexibility. Additionally, Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100 features Bogren Digital's proprietary IRDX technology, enhancing loaded cabinet impulse responses for greater realism and dynamic response.
Like other Bogren Digital amp sims, Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100 includes a standalone version. This version features a tuner, metronome, and a handy riff recorder, making it an ideal tool for practice and spontaneous jam sessions.
Ampknob S_Zero 100 has been designed to sound great from the moment the plugin is launched. There's a lot going on underneath the hood of Ampknob MLC S_Zero 100 — all so users can simply plug in and rock out.
