Blue Cat Audio has released a free update for two of its creative multi effects plug-ins also capable of hosting third party plug-ins, Blue Cat's Late Replies (delay and reverb) and MB-7 Mixer (multiband processor).
This new version of both plug-ins adds 15 new styles for macro parameters knobs, improves multicore performance for parallel processing on both Mac and PC, and adds offline rendering support for third party plug-ins.
Blue Cat's MB-7 Mixer is a multiband processor that splits the signal into several frequency bands and lets you re-mix and process them as if they were separate tracks: change levels, apply panning, add built-in effects, or even third party plug-ins.
Blue Cat's Late Replies is a powerful delay, reverb and multi effects plug-in that can be indefinitely extended by hosting third party VST, VST3 or AU plug-ins anywhere in the signal path.
New in Late Replies 1.66 and MB-7 Mixer 3.56:
- Added 15 new styles for macro knobs.
- Offline rendering support: hosted plug-ins are now notified when the host is rendering offline (non-realtime).
- Fixed multicore performance issues for Apple Silicon systems (random audio dropouts). More details here.
- Improved multicore performance on Windows PC and Intel Macs.
