BIAS releases SoundSoap v2.1 (incl. Universal Binary)

BIAS has released version 2.1 of SoundSoap, which is a a free update to registered users of SoundSoap 2.0.

Changes:

  • Universal Binary (PPC- and Intel-Mac compatible).
  • Updated authorization system allows easier and more flexible management of SoundSoap licenses.
  • SoundSoap 2.1.0 introduces a new authorization process.
  • 2.1.0 introduces support for Intel-based Macs.
  • The standalone application now supports opening more compressed file formats.
  • Improved compatibility with Pro Tools.
  • Fixed a problem where changing sample rates when saving .mov resulted in corrupted audio.
  • Fixed a problem where clicking apply with nothing selected caused the standalone application to crash.
  • Fixed a problem where bouncing the plug-ins caused a short burst of audio output.
  • Fixed and issue where SoundSoap crashed when opening files with non-Roman characters.
  • Improved compatibility with Final Cut Pro.
  • Improved performance when playing MP3 files.
  • Fixed a problem where SoundSoap sweeps low freq when playing back.
  • Improved compatibility with files created by Apple software (STP, FCP).
  • Fixed a problem where SoundSoap failed AU Validation in Logic if it wasn't authorized.
  • Fixed a problem clicking "Apply" when using an unauthorized version of SoundSoap in Soundtrack Pro.
  • Improved noise used in trial mode.
  • Improved the wash window drawing.
