Dennis de Laat has been producing music since 1999 and has released music on Spinnin', Armada, Ministry of Sound, Glasgow Underground, and many other labels. Apart from being part of the hit team Beatfreakz (with two Top Ten hits in the UK), Dennis has also released records as Dennis de Laat, Dennis Christopher, and Simmons & Christopher. Dennis has remixed the likes of Sugababes, Rihanna, Mika, Right Said Fred, and many others. His track Sound of Violence has been featured in the blockbusters The Social Network, Nikita and Sing.

Dennis started MonkeyC in 2023 with the product Rewind, an in-memory tape recorder that captures everything you do in the studio, so you never miss out on a golden moment.

MonkeyC aims to make software that has a unique view of the production process itself, helping producers make music smarter.
