Please help - trying to figure out Engine 2

I just bought the Alpine Folk Music pack last night to make music with. I thought it was going to be virtual instruments that I can use in Ableton. I have no idea how to use Engine 2 and I can't find any online tutorials, manuals, or anything. I got the sound working but I don't know how to record it, loop it, layer it, etc. Please help me. I feel like I wasted the money.
