is there a way to sync the riffer to my DAW prior to me dragging it in? I would like to play it with the track before committing to the drag in part.

Push! Also a scrolling version and scaling would great. As it is right now I find it hard to use.

You can use A#6 (Riff Play Toggle) to trigger Riffer playing before dragging it in.
