Auto Chord question

Hi,

Is there a list that describes which chords are supported in auto chord mode and how to enter them?
I tried to play a Cadd9 chord, but couldn't figure out how to played it using auto chords.

I know I can use the custom chord function, but if I do that I need to create custom chords for the whole song I am working on, becasue I cannot swith betwwen chord modes, right?
