Could someone please elaborate on how to set up and route AutoTheory with Cubase 8.5 Mac OSX?
Many Thanks!

Hi Steven,

You want to go to: Device Setup / MIDI / MIDI Port Setup.

From there:
1. Make sure that the midi keyboard you will be using to control AutoTheory is "inactive" as both an "in" and "out" within Cubase.
2. Make as many AutoTheory "in" devices "active" as you are wanting to use.
3. Make sure that AutoTheory "out" devices are all "inactive".

You can then assign each AutoTheory device input to whatever instrument that you want it to control. You can assign it as a Chord Generator or Melody Lock function from the Output Matrix at the bottom of AutoTheory, as well as decide which octave it should play at.

Hope that helps. If you have any more questions, please email zkinter36@autotheorybymozaic.com

Also make sure that "Use system timestamp for Windows midi inputs" is checked.
