does it read the old alchemy libraries too?

it looks more like the mobile version, but it's still a good look for it.

i'm on windows so no opportunity to try these out...

Sorry I don't own any of the libraries but there's over 3,000 presets to get you started here, the pads are lovely iv'e only went through about 10 presets but the feel of Alchemy in Logic is pretty cool. I'll have a bit more play with it tonight. Maybe someone who had other expansions can see if they load in to Logic.

Why shouldn't it? If it can read SFZ patches it should be able to do it.

The website says there are 14GBs of samples. Not sure how many gigs the total catalogue comprised of. I doubt apple would do more work than was necessary so I have to assume they included some content.
