I just bought BFD 3 and i was looking for this familiar display
I can't seem to find it
I really feel the new GUI is a major Step back, it looks way too complicated and reminds me of
NI's Reaktor (which is way too complex for me) really, it looks like some Electronic circuit design Application
can u imagine newbies buying this ?
There really should be a "simple display", kinda like NI's FM8
a feature i would like for BFD would be each piece of kits being sampled from different Mics.
Each piece would have a choice of Mic channels per piece.
Like the snare having a choice of different Mics like a snare with a sm57 channel/fader and/or a u47 and so on.
BTW what happened to the PZM mic ? is it still avalaible ?
can't seem to find the fader

true but still its what drew me to BFD back in the day.
BFD2 's GUI was OK-ish but BFD 3 is terrible for me
I'm sure a lot of Newbies just look at the GUI and go "erm i just wanna make some music i don't want to design an electronic circuit "
Also something i would like in from Fxpansion would be to have the internal BFD3
FX being available in a self contained Multi-FX plugin.
So i can use the FX i like from BFD onto Something else than BFD

Fxpansion does sell dcam dynamics and other effects, but like most things in life, they aren't free. I am waiting on my bfd 3 upgrade in the mail, but besides a pretty picture of a drum kit, what is better about the v1 GUI? Also I'd suggest BFD isn't for noobs and programming awesome drum tracks can be something like writing a circuit. If you want easy, better stick to BFD ECO.

IMO BFD3 GUI is far superior to any BFD version. once you make sense of it, it becomes a breeze to use. and it's resizable, which is a bonus.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

And I'm counting on that it is supposed to arrive today.Burillo wrote:IMO BFD3 GUI is far superior to any BFD version. once you make sense of it, it becomes a breeze to use. and it's resizable, which is a bonus.

BFD Eco continues the tradition of the quick start UI.
BFD3 is more aimed at fast, efficient working process for power users, hence the more minimal GUI.
