Thanks to all who have a listen. :)

That piano intro has an insistent, but irregular feel, maybe like the rain. I like the change going into the second section. It adds tension before the track enters a jazzy phase, which seems to echo some of the Brecker Brothers work with Zappa in the '70s. I thought this had a very satisfying dark side.

Good work :)

It's probably the title :hihi:

I think this requires a few listens to really appreciate. I heard it about 3 or 4 times on Wednesday. I just played it again. It sounds even better now.

A grower :)

This is a great piece. Not exactly easy listening as it's quite unsettling, melancholy, introspective but it works really well.

Peace,
Andy.

Thanks Andy! And totally understood... I can appreciate many people are looking for happy/fun feelings when listening. I just tend to enjoy exploring the other side... :)

how did i miss this? it's right up my street. the whole thing is thick with tension. i can imagine listening to this while wandering around some abandoned building.

talking of abandoned buildings The Ghosts of Bush "was created entirely using the natural acoustic sounds of Bush House, the iconic home for the past seven decades of the BBC World Service which closed its doors for the last time on July 12th 2012."

you may find it interesting.

wicked track Matt :)

I love this kinda thing! I would go on long drives and listen to movie audio...the first night of the living dead was one of em. The sounds of the doors opening, the hammering, driving away in cars, conversations.

This is like movie for the ears is what I'm trying to say, me likey. :)

Unique. Some great moments between 2 and 3 min. and the jazzy bits towards the end.
