Hello,

I wonder if, for the future, you have thought about some wrapping / morphing feature, like in this little old one from Victor Khashchanskiy (alas no more available anywhere) :

I know of course that it can be done on an exported picture in a regular image editor, but it would be nice to have something integrated in Photosounder, above all with the new Live mode !

Well, you can already do some kind of wrapping. Here's how it works: create a new layer, draw a vertical line, not a straight line though, something wavy or curvy, do an Horizontal Normalisation, set it to Horizontal Propagation (Looped). Then create another layer, draw an horizontal line/curve, then do the same operations except you switch horizontal and vertical. Do it a few times and you'll get a funny wrapped result.

As for actually doing something with a proper grid and everything, I don't see myself implementing that anything soon (although I guess it could have some uses), however that's one of those things that I would love to see as a sort of Photosounder plugin (well it'd be more appropriate to say third-party app that communicates with Photosounder). The idea would be that when TCP/IP communication is implemented in Photosounder, then a third party app could be created to communicate with it, in this case essentially it would get image data from Photosounder, let you deform it and everything and send back the transformed image as it happens. I already have an impressive todo list so I think it's best for me to focus on the things that are essential while enabling other people to build up on it.

Ideally someone would make something like a GIMP or Photoshop plugin that would communicate with Photosounder as to smoothly bridge the two. That'd be great.
