My ManyStatation and ManyOne have died (fixed)

My ManyStatation and ManyOne have stopped working.
The scene:
My Vista laptop
The crime:
Booted up my DAW and didn't have my external HD that contained all my Wusik sound files with me. I got past the error messages about not finding the sound libraries (I forget whether I clicked on cancel or just pointed to the root of my C: drive or subfolder).
The punishment:
Now I can't get them (ManyStatation and ManyOne) to work, even with the external drive attached. I get errors saying the the VSTi are invalid and need to be reinstalled.
Cakewalk's Sonar6 plug-in scanner says:
The following plug-in caused an error during load: Manystation Multi-Out
the failure point was reported as; Main Call
ManyStation produces the same error.
Comments:
My ManyGuitar still works fine as does my Wusikstation.
I do have the install files somewhere (might take a while to find them but I know I have them backed up somewhere), but don't think that will fix the problem.
I think something got corrupted in their registry settings.

Hmmm, it sounds like maybe it changed the registry when it couldn't find the sound library directory.
Load up the registry editor (run "regedit", maybe that will work in Vista I don't know). Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WusikEngine\WusikEngine
And make sure that the path is correct in the "DataDirectory" key.
Notice that WusikStation itself has its own registry for the sound library path, which would explain why WusikStation would continue functioning, while ManyStation would not.
Just a guess, it may be worth looking into.

That was the ticket!
I found a corrupted entry "Manyst~1" under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WusikEngine\WusikEngine
The other entries at that location appear to be untouched.
I deleted the corrupt entry and now everything is running as it should.
Sincere thanks,
...Steven
