Sorry missed the word 'broadcast' so presumably needs to be real time.... Maybe Voicemod would be nearer to what you want

Tried that. Like much of the software suggested, it doesn't want to continue to the next step despite the fact my microphone is working and I can hear myself in my speakers. Seems detected but step 3 just ain't happening. The Elgato Wave:3 seems to be very uh.. incompatible? With a lot. Or is it because I have to use a Guest account? (When I'm streaming I don't want people seeing my main). I'm at a loss. Thinking I might have to consider hardware instead.

I don't see why you couldn't use something like MAutoPitch live. I am sure it will have a few milliseconds latency but you can get used to it. You would just have to route the DAW's monitor mix out to a stream.GetReady4Freddy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 9:03 am Correct me if I'm wrong and if you can send me to specific instructions to the contrary, but these seem like post-recording treatments. Ah. I think I forgot to tell you that I need to alter my voice live. I tried MAutoPitch in FL Studio 21. I thought I saw YouTubers displaying the uses of MAutoPitch seeming like they were live at the time, but it's very likely they treated their voices after recording. I must be live as my voice is morphed.
(I think the novelty of watching a stream with a guy in a Freddy mask using voice altering software will wear out pretty quickly. Why don't you just speak in your normal voice without the mask? Ultimately the content is what matters.)

I concur, but for slightly different reasons.Frantz wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 11:28 pm...GetReady4Freddy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 9:03 am Correct me if I'm wrong and if you can send me to specific instructions to the contrary, but these seem like post-recording treatments. Keep the mask, sure, but keep your normal voice too because you shouldn't underestimate the importance of intelligibility/clarity in talk-radio-like formats. It's absolutely not the sort of format where you want to be rolling the dice on every syllable with a drastic always-on timbral processor. The mask will add to the intelligibility problem by virtue of the audience being unable to see your mouth.
I have a very deep voice, and I used to go the other way by rolling the bass off my voice to enhance intelligibility. Meant I had a little more headroom to punch above background music and, indeed, the vocal levels in competing broadcasts.

HI Keanu, love your work, especially in John Wick 4. You know, I actually think you could do this idea using ChatGPT. Don't ask me how to do it, I just know it's perfectly able to replicate an actor's voice, and you can just feed in what to say and how to say it. Modern tech is boggling.

Are you sure about that requirement?GetReady4Freddy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 9:03 am I think I forgot to tell you that I need to alter my voice live.
If you ask me, live streams in start-up phase may be content if 10 people have listened.
With podcast format you may get 100 or 1000x as much. Plus higher quality because it doesn't need to be perfect at the first shot. You can do edits.
I even suspect most "live streams" in the wild are in fact pre-recorded. No one can tell, or check.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
