What synthesizers was used in the Dream Trance, House, Dance music?

I've met a few of my hero's from the years just before BBE and Robert Miles. All of them said that the record shops told them to get a Roland W30 as that meant they could save their work.

Kurzweil k2000/k2500 for the organ piano and FMish bass in there! But the organ is in the m1 (take the chorus off) the FM bass can just be replicated with fm8 or something similar and the piano from Roland just add a time sync delay and add stacattyo strings from the Triton I will source some sounds similar for you guys soon if you like

Don't forget Samplers. I just listened to Shep Pettibone sample the hell out of Depeche Mode. (I think that was the only way to do stutters)
