Hello My only experience in music was playing trombone from fifth grade through high school. In other words I have no experience in chords and next to nothing on music theory. I have recently tried to learn by watching a few videos. I recently started a YouTube channel and posted my first video. I used Rapid Composer and BBC Orchestra which I just purchased. I used the Idea Tool and made hardly any changes. I used Leonardo.ai to create the picture for the video. Here's my video let me know what you think. Much appreciated. Enjoy https://youtu.be/eePlz17pxnM

Welcome to this forum, SonicSerenity, and thanks for posting your composition!
You managed to catch the atmosphere of a forest with fairies!
I am not a composer to give you an advice, but I think more repetition of lines and motives would be an improvement.
Thanks!
Attila

Hello SonicSerenity. You have certainly picked the right software to go on your journey into composition.
As Attila has said, a little more repetition and development of motives but sounded good for your first attempt, you should be pleased.
I look forward to hearing more of what you have done. The picture is great and I can see why you used the instrumentation that you did,
Cheers. Mike.

This is my first foray into AI art / video and I'm hooked ...
I needed to write some trippy music to go with it and of course, get Nine Zero to sing it.
RC did the heavy lifting on this one
https://youtu.be/0LXuDjmniTE
It's tongue in cheek really and I'm sure there will be those who are old enough to get what song might be being hinted at.
Oh yeah, and warning: There be Serpents!
Cheers. Mike.

Hi all,
After a few months of hard work, I'm happy of publishing the second part of Suite Coloma. As usual, RC has been an essential tool for composing and developing the tracks. Thanks Attila and all guys at this forum. It would be impossible for me alone. Your help and continous support is highly appreciated.

I don't know how it happened, but I discovered your post only today.
The video is very cool too. I wish I had time to experiment with AI art...
Thanks!

Thanks Attila. AI seems to do quite well from a text prompt for Art.
AI for music, not so much because music relies to some extent on creativity rather than rehash.
Cheers.
Mike.

Really nice vocals I'm hoping the rest feature will be in this weeks beta update if so I might do a video using these vocals and the rest feature to show how beneficial rest variations are when creating new rhythms and remixingmusicdevelopments wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 1:07 pm Ranya Iyer uses RapidComposer to get ideas, and jam around.
