Is it exactly the same as the other version, just polyphonic?

If it is, I don’t need to buy it as I can create polyphony in Unify.

Nope, it's way more than a polyphonic version.

In addition to polyphony, Generate has:
5 Chaotic Oscillator Types
3 Wavefolder Options
Many More Modulation Sources
High-quality Effects

Anyone spend a lot of time with this yet? I'm really interested after having spent some time with the demo. It seem to provide a great variety of sounds and reminds me of hardware modular possibilities, but I wonder if that is the novelty or if it really in complex and flexible enough to continue to surprise. Would love your thoughts about it before I buy it.
