Oooops....you mean those red letters spelling "User's Manual"? thanks ;-)
That's OK - if I had a dime for every time I stared at a link without seeing it, I could buy you a copy of the total Efimov bundle.

Anyway, I made up my mind - I'm buying the total bundle (for myself) this evening.
Thanks for understanding.

Hmmm... I might bug you with some questions after you've had a week or so to play with it... I just read the strum manual and it's hard for me to envisage certain things. He has a video but it's quite rushed, jumping from feature to feature without showing how certain things are done.

Anyway, have fun with the new toy!

Used the Nylon as the lead instrument in one of my video projects.
Outstanding video and the guitar sounds great.

I'm still deciding which guitar library to use, may main focus is ease of use for a non-guitarist, particularly with strums. Do you or anyone else have any advice there?

I'm an OTS Steel Strings user here and have to say it sounds amazing and capable of creating extremely realistic guitar tracks!

The only other library that sounds on a par with this is the Ilya Efimov guitars.

The Pettinhouse stuff also sounds very good.

I have to admit that I'm impressed with the Indiginus products though for value for money. From the demos I've heard, I don't think that the Acoustic Guitar Collection is up there with the three I mentioned and lacks some depth, detail and velocity layers but for $40 it's extremely impressive!

I'm particularly impressed with the Indiginus Torch electric guitar and can see myself picking this one up. I already have the OTS Evolution Guitar Strawberry which once again is awesome but I would like a Strat aswell.
I would like something that is capable of solo lines aswell as having an editable strum pattern sequencer but can't justify the $249 for RealStrat. $129 seems very reasonable for the Pettinhouse stuff but I like the simplicity of Indiginus Torch.

Vir2 Acoustic Legends HD 24-bit 96KHz sampled acoustic guitars 19GB

I have my eye on this I may get that if it's as good as Electri6ity.

Omnisphere has some very good and playable acustic guitars.

Efimov or OTS acoutic cant decided.

I know, I know . . . . I'm totally a late-comer to this thread, but I'd like to contribute a few comments about Indiginus Acoustic Guitar Collection. I now own a copy of this Kontakt sample library, and for only $40, I am very impressed with it. That's not to say that one of the more elaborate $180+ gigantic libraries aren't better suited for anyone needing serious "upfront" acoustic guitar tracks. However, if you need a really, really solid, authentic sounding acoustic rhythm or finger-style track, you absolutely can't do any better! (Especially considering the very conservative cost of only $40.

The sounds are well sampled and the articulations are very believable sounding. The "Strum Maker" scripting works very well. The library is easy-to-use, once you get used to it. All (3) steel string models "Sound" very much like the 'real' thing. I haven't used the nylon string sample-set yet.

Dynamics are very good. The muting, harmonics, strum variations and chord variations parameters can all be tweaked to yield very believable acoustic guitar tracks.

I highly recommend the Indiginus Acoustic Guitar Collection for anyone needing a solid, easy-to-use, and authentic sounding acoustic guitar sample library. This inexpensive set of samples is especially suitable for anyone needing good quality AG accompaniment tracks or background rhythm "wash". As a matter of fact, I like this nice sample library and Kontakt scripting so much, I plan on posting a more in-depth review of it over the next little while.

If you haven't checked out the online demos of this great instrument, I invite you to consider giving them a "look-see".

As an aside, for only $5, I snagged a set of very good electrik piano (Wurlitzer & Rhodes MK II) sample sets from Indiginus. No, they aren't in the same league as the big ol' multi Gig products like Scarbee, etc., but boy, they sure fill a huge gap between the free or average "bundled" kind included with "FREE" samplers.

+1 -- these are very good value for money

I'd add that the developer is very friendly and helpful

I think the best I ever heard is at a tiny site, called www.digistormers.com (http://www.digistormers.com) digistormers, and the products menu and plugins or whatever, now that is what I call real acoustic guitar, and it is a Vsti. Probably they don't know they actually made the best, price is a joke for competitors which are not realistic.

Post

That's the same product made by Acoustic Samples.
I have their GD-6 and it's great.

Post

GD-6 and Sunbird are both very realistic. sound demos don't do justice to GD-6 (at first i thought it sucked), make sure to watch the acoustic samples tutorials instead (for both) - they pretty much show these instruments in all their glory.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I'm quite pleased with how the Telematic functions and sounds, I'm upgrading to V3 today, I think the new offering Acoustic "Sunbird" http://www.acousticsamples.net/sunbird is surprisingly good too..

uncanny how the scripting works and GUI is so intuitively setup...
waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.
