Wondering how you would go about making the plucky synth on the drop of this song?
Its a monster

Thanks a lot
It's really the kick you need to focus in, that ravey sound is all over sylenth1 / nexus.reeceado wrote:Also any idea on the kick?
Yeah the kick is huge, any idea on how to get one similar? its more boomy than the big distorted kicks such as showtek, W&W etc Probably has a little distortion on itJulianVeloso wrote:It's really the kick you need to focus in, that ravey sound is all over sylenth1 / nexus.reeceado wrote:Also any idea on the kick?
Take a Big (3 Bars) Kick and put in one single chanel, apply regular distortion and bitcrush it, now apply a compressor with long attack and hard knee.reeceado wrote:Yeah the kick is huge, any idea on how to get one similar? its more boomy than the big distorted kicks such as showtek, W&W etc Probably has a little distortion on itJulianVeloso wrote:It's really the kick you need to focus in, that ravey sound is all over sylenth1 / nexus.reeceado wrote:Also any idea on the kick?
Distortion, reverb, compression, maybe layering. Sometimes it's just as simple as "weak" = low volume.borjadja wrote:I bumb this thread because I want to learn how to make the actual lead. I've tried to get my synths to become that big and clean, but they just appear to be too weak.
What can I do to get the synth so big?
Your kick is lacking the bass, your synth needs some heavy reverb sidechained to kick as well, i would use a send channel for this.borjadja wrote:Yes I have tried that, but it wont sound has fat and "full" as MAKJ's and tracks like that.
This is what I came up, as you can hear it aint nearly as good as the "Springen" synth. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
