Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to set up cubase, so that each time a new track is loaded, say when an audio sample is imported, or even if an audio track is simply created, that this track can contain a default plugin automatically?
For example, i would like a frequency analyzer to load in the last part of the chain on each audio track i load into cubase. is this possible, without doing it manually each time?
Thanks
Attention Cubase users (Cubase 6)

Not sure if this is what you're asking for, but you can create track presets that do this. Just create the audio track that you want (with inserts, etc.) and save it. Then recall it when you want it.
This was made somewhat easier in C7, but I'm pretty sure 6 has this ability too.
Alternately, you can create entire templates of projects for instant recall. Just set up the project the way you want, with audio tracks and other track types, and then save it as a 'template' (this is in the file dropdown, I believe). Then when you start a new project, your template can be one of your options.

That's sort of what I mean. What i would like to do it, say i was to drag a sample out of a folder straight into cubase and dropped it in; i would like the audio track that is automatically created to host the sample to contain the same plugin every time. Does that make sense?

What I would do, instead of dropping the sample into a blank slate, is just create the audio track first (using a preset that you create that includes the inserts you want). Then just drag your sample(s) right into the track. Easy.rayoliver87 wrote:That's sort of what I mean.
