You briefly quote a cartoon theme at 0:12 but I can't place it. What is that?
Lots of distortion is obscuring what sounds like a cool shuffle rhythm. I agree tightening the low end would help.
The track is fairly long with a lot of free association lyrics. Maybe shorten it? If not, I think it needs more energy to maintain interest.

I enjoyed it.
Although the low-mids could be tightened up there is a danger IMHO of losing the aesthetic - the "locked in a box" sound of the synth that comes to the fore as the song fades acts as foil to the idea of satisfaction. Maybe worth using an expander on the synth line to bring out the attack but losing some of the tail to avoid EQing?
The organ part works well. Made me think of the Stranglers.

Yes, I think so! Thank you. I was racking my brains trying to figure it out.plusch wrote:Isn't that the theme from "The Dick Van Dyke Show?"Frantz wrote:You briefly quote a cartoon theme at 0:12 but I can't place it. What is that?
Mr. Blitz: Was there a reason for quoting Dick Van Dyke?
