The weather we have here right now, I mean, cold and rainy. It's an album from last year, somewhat different from what I normally record. If you're not looking for pop hooks and are willing to listen properly, it might work for you.

Thoughtful, nice tune...I'm listening to it while I'm sitting in the sun. Your extreme rain on the south side of the alps has at least one advantage (for Bavaria) - that we have Foehn now and blue sky...

That's rare...Mac of BIOnighT wrote:You mean you're enjoying the sun and we're paying the price? AARGHHH!!!
Most times we have the rain in Bavaria, and you have the sun on the south side of the alps. This year's May you seem to get more rain than we in Bavaria...
BTW, I always look at:

I prefer not to look at meteo, I get horribly depressed as it is
If I don't get some sun soon, I'll die... seriously, we haven't had normal weather for years now, and these never ending winters and rains are beginning to take some serious toll on people, adding to Italy's financial situation. Nobody around here seems to be able to react anymore...

I'm trying to learn some Swedish - we both could have chosen simpler languages ;-P You're doing much better than I am, anyway

'Per' bump... i really like this album, but per is my fav.
believe it or not, it kind of reminds me of new orleans.
i may have said this before, but the drum section could be louder. on the other hand, maybe it's just fine as it is - that being a tad, 'laid back in the mix' fits the sensibility of the piece.
did you get the water sounds from synths?

Thanks for the bump, I really appreciate it
The water is actually a field recording (not by me) of Swedish waves. The film in which Per is the protagonist is a very, very beautiful Swedish film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497976/
Without spoiling the plot, I can say that the story of the character begins in a place where there's a beach and the waves of the sea are very much a part of his own history. For reasons I won't get into, he then has to move to the city, where he lives as a bum for many years. He then goes back to the place with the beach to make peace with his past and be able to move on. That's why there are the sound of the waves and that of the city in the track.
Anyway, I do suggest you all watch this movie, if you can find it. You can buy it from Sweden, too, it's got English subtitles.
