The manual and much of the literature lean on strummed guitar but how does torch shape up
In the solo department.
Is there any dynamic layers for palm, pinch, legato etc or is this mainly a chord instrument.
Any solo gtr videos ?

The solos that you hear on the demos were played using presets in Torch. With the strumming features off, it plays like a normal sampled guitar. There are mutes, slides (sliding up one semitone to the note), and alternating down and up strokes (2x round robin).
There are no legato transitions, but I use it all the time for solos and I don't miss it.
