Cool! I'm really liking the New JP-1 Synth. I could use the MP 5.2 that's the only one I don't have on that list. I see your missing one GTG LOG 2.1 VSTi. Or is that what you meant by just GTG LOG? Because I got a GTG LOG and a LOG 2.1. 8)

Ehm can I suggest to add the same CC fix as for GTG 44S to GTG MS2008? :D

Max
Will be done tomorrow :-)
Tried to download MS2008 and I've seen the CC has been implemented. Thank you very much Mik! ;)

Wow, that's a lot!
But most of those are probably the ones compiled in Win 98 ( with the *.dat and *.dll files in the zip )
It seems I need to re-compile the SE-files in Win XP in order to work with them in my machine.
Never mind, I will see what I can do.
Thanks.

Everyone on that list works on Windows XP except MP 5.2 because I don't have it to test. I believe there is a GTG E-Flex 1 too isn't there? 8)

Yes, they all work on Win XP. The problem is that my FTP editor will not accept the zipped files created in Win 98, so I have to create new .zip or .rar files to be able to upload the synths again. This means I need all the graphic elements along with the SE-files. And unfortunately I have lost some of these.
I don't know what causes this problem really, but maybe it has to do with the saving systems being different on the two Windows versions.( In Windows 98 there was two files associated with a synth, *.dat and *.dll. In XP only one *.dll file. )
Anyway,I will find a way to get most of the synths back soon :-)
The E-Flex synths will not be back though.

Mik.

Hei Mik, I suppose the problem are the zip files, not their content... :-?
I don't know if I missed something but if you extract the content and recreate the zip file in XP that should be enough to fix the problem, I think.

That's what I would have thought as well.

I am a big fan of the GTG JP-1. :-)
I hope that it will be finished soon.

gtg605 wrote:Hello all.

I have now gone through all the missing plugins and re-compiled most of them.
They are ready for download. Unfortunately I have lost quite a few of the graphic elements for some of them in a crash last year ( Windows 98 ).
So I have removed the links from the site for now. I will look through my back-ups and hopefully find most of it again, but some of the synths will have to be re-done, or maybe even be replaced by new ones.
Yeah, that's a bit of a turn-off, but shit happens...

Anyway, I think all my older plugins can be found elsewere. Behringer Audio, Muse Research and other companies have free cd's with all of them, so in case you need some of them you should be able to find them.

Sorry about all this, but maybe it's good to move on with the Win XP format and forget the old plugins. Until we encounter Windows Vista compiling and compatibility issues....

See you

Mik
mik, i have damn near all your synths, if ya let me know what you are missing, i will see if i can hook ya up when i get back home.

Hmm , I think you might be right about that. Let me try that. Anyway, most of the synths are okay now. And maybe I do want to abandon a few of the older ones, since they have more or less been replaced by some of the later models.

Cheers.

I finally managed to download the String synth, and it's just great! I think it's gonna become one of my go-to synths, like your NK1001, and Oberon, and Monolisa, and Galileo, and a few others that just seem to get along pretty well with me and my music :)
Thanks!!!!!

Actually, I love your synths, but I don't often manage to really use them in my tracks - not as much as they'd deserve to, given their quality - except for the NK1001, but I'm thinking more and more often of trying to come up with a track (or an album) made exclusively with them... If I ever do that, I'll let you know :)
In the meantime, thanks again for your work and your generosity!!

glad your back, thanks for sharing your great work.your synths are top quality.
it would be also great to have you take part in the DC09,
it's all just a bit of freeware fun. :)
