"I've listened to the demos, and while they sound lovely"
Now you are not impressed?
The demos you heard are #1… beta mode and only one soloist. #2. Sam Hulick and I both agreed NOT to make the demos a “wow” factory demo. I am trying to show an honest sound. We did not compress or add more reverb or do tons of over-dubs.
Kaveh Cohen and Doyle Donehoo are doing the official demos.
I asked for them to be big! Both composers say, “no … keep it natural”
I find it somewhat unfair to compare Diva to SOV and VOTA. I only meant signature as far as …. You and I both know you can hear SOV a mile away
Please keep in mind that this is a CD set based of the softer side of the female soloists.
This not a Choir, there for I see no reason why it should be compared to the above Not to mention you can buy 3 ½ copies of Diva for the price of VOTA.
Options?
You have all the same vowels as VOTA but “true” syllables/consonants and legato mode performances files.
See, now you have me comparing LOL
Lastly, I do not wish to sell you. Buy it - Don’t buy it. Whatever you feel suites you best as the consumer. You have every right to your opinions and I thank you for your input.

Hi, Bela ... I was looking at the Legato Flute (thanx ) in Halion, as I'm not a Giga user.
I have a small problem. Can you help?
Both sample sets, the main Joan and the Joan Fade appear with velocity 0-55. superimposed on top of each other. No sample appears at higher than 55 velocity (except the two breath files).
How should the overall velocity levels of each sample set be? Recommendations?
Also, Halion indicated some sort of Modulation trigger, but I couldn't figure out what it is.
The tone of the individual samples is nice, and it would be good to the whole preset working in Halion.
thanx = kev

Hey There!
The legato flute is only one velocity but is made of 2 layers.
Layer 1 flute sustain with burst of breath at the end of sample. Mod wheel down.
Layer 2 flute sustain fade away. Mod wheel up.
I no nothing about Halion
Perhaps you could re-construct the instrument?

Let me know if you have any other question about the flute or harp files.
Also, take a listen to DIVA beta #3 and share your input?

Thanks

I think Diva sounds beautiful and quite haunting. I'm sure it would be very useful for my slower tunes.
As far as format goes, I use Halion, so giga is Ok, but I prefer native Halion if I can get it.
I feel I bit stupid, coz I can't seem to find the free flute and harp sounds

Another question.
If I buy Diva now, will Extend Diva be a seperate product or does it include Diva. I would like both I believe, so am I better off waiting for Extended Diva?

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delayed response.
First, I apologize about the free file links. I had re-designed my website recently and neglected to put the free file link on. I will do that ASAP.
For now please find the free files at
http://www.beladmedia.com/Legato_Flute.zip
http://www.beladmedia.com/Performance_Harp.zip
DIVA Extended will follow DIVA. It will sell for $49.99 to registered users of DIVA. It is a separte CD. DIVA is a 2 CD set and Extended is 1 CD.
I would recommend not waiting due to the fact that the $49.99 price is a special offer as an "incentive" to purchase DIVA. After the special off ends, It would cost you $300.00 to get both ... not, $200.00 with free ground shipping. (Users of DIVA will revceive an email when Extended is ready)
Let me take this opportunity to post two additional beta demos
Beta Demo #1 - Ethereal was composed by Sam Hulick featuring piano and soloist 1 of 2 using multisamples and effects.
http://www.beladmedia.com/Ethereal.mp3
Beta Demo #2 - Ensemble was created using DIVA's Ensemble Patches. The Ensemble Patches are a combination of Soloist 1 and 2, i.e., blend of sustained and moving vowels.
http://www.beladmedia.com/Ensemble.mp3
Anyway, this is starting to sound like a great big spam report .... sorry to all the other members.
Thank you again for your interest.
Frank
PS. PayPal shop is working fine here. Make certain the you do NOT have a POP-UP stopper on. The PayPal button needs to open another window.
