Hi,
For those who use, or want to use, Podium to do 5.1 (Hi Vonbrucken !), I have updated the Device Defionition Mappings that will allow to use some of the 5.1 AcousModules without having to configure them manually.
It is not hard to do, but I know that there is so much things to learn in Podium
The plugins which are concerned are (all freeware versions) :
- AnimaSpat 5 : spatial movements (super autopan !)
- MiniLevel 26 : direct level control of the two inputs in the 6 outputs
- SpatChorus 5 : simple chorus but with spatial movement and modulations
- SpatMass 66 : put any of the 5 or 6 inputs to the 6 outputs, allows to shift, rotate, deform 5 channels spatial images
- SpatPod 5.1 : THE 5.1 surround module...
- SpatTest 5.1 : can be usefull to understand why you don't hear anything !
- SpatVerb 55 : pentaphonic Freeverb with spatial control
The files are available here : http://acousmodules.free.fr/hosts.htm#podium
Cheers
(and yes, Podium rocks !)

yes this would be a really nice thing , keep on the good workIf you prefer to do your own mapping, or if there is no Device Definition for it, choose instead "Import Plugin". I will make a short tutorial for this soon (I hope !).

Hi,hello, I can't access zynewave.com anymore. What's happening ? Is the site down ? I can't use podium neither (it crashes when I start it).
I've just come back today, and I have also tried to connect to the Podium's forum with no success.
I suppose that there is a server problem ?...
Be patient !

Hello,
I'm just beginning with your plugins in Podium and I cannot find the device definitions you speak of in your Podium tutorial. The page you reference just goes to the large comparison chart.
thanks.

Yes, sorry for the lack of information, I have to remove the link.
I don't give anymore these files because Frits has made it easier to import multichannel plugins and they are not really needed now.
It is not yet straightforward, but all that you have to do is :
- import the plugin like any stereo plugin
- right click on the name in the Devices list and choose "New Multichannel Insert Mapping"
- delete the file/folder that was created initially
Best regards
