Extra Boy is crashing my App

I downloaded the "Extra Boy" trial to evaluate it. I'm using a software application clled Mixmeister Pro (version 1) and running Spin Audio VST-DX Wrapper Lite to run Extra Boy. It works for a bit but when I try to click on "Isolate" in Extra Boy, it crashes.

Any ideas of where the conflict exists? Is there a DirectX version of Extra Boy?
