Welcome! I'm Rodney Gates, the founder of SoundCues. I formed this company to create cool new sample-based virtual instruments that lack a lot of representation out there, in an effort to add new sounds and rich texture to the tone palettes of composers everywhere.

As a lifelong musician and 10-year veteran of video game sound design, I have always been a mixture of right-brain creative and left-brain technical. My passion for the recording arts has been as deep as the desire to play and create music. This hybrid mix works very well in the game sound world, and translates beautifully into creating expressive, playable VIs that I hope you will enjoy.
