Bitwig Studio 5

Excellent sequencer but disastrously poorly developed memory and internal memory resources of this DAW. They haven't stopped incorporating modules and effects that simply use up any coherent memory used, unless you have 128GB of RAM, good luck as it will crash within a few tracks. The developers of this company surely test it on computers obtained from NASA. I have spent my money badly here, I regret it very much.

Icarus is one of the most versatile, impressive-sounding synths we've heard since... well, Xfer Records Serum, whose wavetable crown it clearly has its sights set on. The Wavetable Editor is particularly worthy of singling out for praise, as it makes the potentially daunting job of messing with waveforms supremely easy and rewarding.

It doesn't hurt that the whole GUI looks great, either, with its beautiful animated waveform display - including a rolling 3D view of the wavetable as it's scanned - classy font and switchable colour scheme. An epic synth in every sense.

Sonically and functionally, Icarus stands up well to Xfer's mighty rival, despite sounding very different to it. Icarus definitely has that characteristic larger-than-life Tone2 vibe - right from the raw oscillator level upwards, it's a shouter, designed to sound big, bold and glossy at all times, which may not be to every producer's taste.

It would be unfair to call that a 'criticism', though, and ultimately there's no denying that Icarus is Tone2's finest achievement yet. Epic in every sense. Well done Tone2.

Simply the best VOCODER as of today, without discussion. This one leaves 10 light years behind all the crap Vocoders on the market with a huge bill behind in marketing bells and whistles.

Wonderful, CPU friendly, glorious sound and tools that would make the competition weep without a doubt! If what you need is a Vocoder with class, personality, and a sound out of this world, here is your Vocoder.

SampleTank 4

I have mixed opinions here with SampleTank 4, and especially with the Syntronik 2 instrument. The quality of the sounds and the beauty of each synthesizer panel are immense. The tonality of the analog presets is truly masterful. I have all the best VST synthesizers on the market, and the only one that comes close is Spectrasonics' Omnisphere. The analog leads of Syntronik, along with the layering capability of SampleTank, make these tools a pure diamond for the modern musician.

Regarding the installation process, organization, and intuitiveness with such a large amount of GB to install, SampleTank 2 is a real disaster, literally garbage. I have ultra-fast internet speed, but I've been installing from the Manager for hours, synthesizer by synthesizer, one by one, and the speed from IK's servers is truly awful and a lack of respect for the user who purchased their products. That said, if I were responsible for the website and sound download area, I would fire everyone tomorrow. Seriously, IK? A disaster; but the product and its quality are impressive, which compensates for the hours of waiting (?) Definitely not, if only Dev. would update what I just explained as a user, they would sell thousands more copies of this fantastic collection of vintage synthesizers. 5 stars for Syntronik's quality! 5 for the design of SampleTank 4, and 0 stars for the incapable and ineffective developers who worked on the data and sound downloading process. Excellent! Well thought out, CPU friendly, intuitive and professional. The best option to FL Studio's Patcher. Works like a charm from Windows 11 64-bit. Under Mixcraft v10 it works great too. Superior to Pluginguru's Unify (sorry John) and it's free. Once you create a project with the ins/outs everything is simplified. Thanks to ELEMENT! great synth and effects layering tool for the electronic musician in 2023! Highly recommended!

The best tool for the professional in the market. No other mastering tool matches it in quality, performance and perfect final sound. If you can't master professionally with this version 11, do something else.

Unify (Standard Edition)

Version reviewed: 1.10.2 on Windows

I recently purchased Unify. in my opinion it is very good, highly recommended for people who play the keyboard and need or want to mix presets of your favorite VST and add rhythms that vary by touching the knobs, so it brings dynamism to the bases, you can practically give a bolus only with this program if you learn to use it along with a controller keyboard.
It is also useful to design sounds and see how they have been made by the creators of Unify, who are musicians and have worked in Korg, Omnisphere, Serum, etc designing hardware, sound and it shows in the presets they take out of free VST that come included as the Dexed.
The program goes very well, I load 4 Roland Srx together and stays for half of resources and stable, if I use Sforzando does not even flinch with 8 layers.
In short, for me a good product, there are others similar but in the end I have chosen this one because I had nothing like this and I have seen it complete and affordable.
Very good sound library with sounds from classic to current, expandable and combinable, stable program, instruments and effects that brings, possibility of adding loops, songs, VST that you have either instruments or effects and more little things it offers. For 70 euros little more I could ask for, happy with the program.
